Are you just starting out in German and looking to go beyond your language app, but you don’t know how?
Which German books are good? Are there any fun learning series to watch? What’s the best dictionary? How often should I study? How can I practise my pronunciation?
You will find answers to all these questions and more in my German Starter Kit.
This a comprehensive list of all the words you need to know for the A1-level.
This list is from the Goethe Institut and the official vocabulary guide for the Goethe-Zertifikat A1 – Start Deutsch 1.
It gives you an overview of all the vocabulary you need to know. And you even get a sentence with every word.
According to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) you need to learn about 650 German words for level A1. Only 300 words you need to know actively. This means you can produce correctly written or spoken sentences with them. The other half is part of your passive vocabulary. These are the words you can understand, when reading or hearing them.
This is a must-have if you are planing to do the B1 exam at the Goethe Institut.
In this free guidebook for you will find set phrases which you can use during your presentation of the B1 exam.
They are called Redemittel – you can also find all these phrases in my green Redemittel-Karaoke-Posts on Instagram.
There you can even listen to the pronunciation, practice, and test yourself at the end.
